WHAT IS THE EXCHANGE?

The ONLY REPUTABLE SOURCE for buying and selling pre-loved SBS Wigs. Other wigs from other websites and social media channels claiming to be SBS wigs are not backed by Styles By Soma and are typically not legitimate SBS wigs.

We encourage consumers to take caution in purchasing wigs from other companies or individuals that claim to be from Styles By Soma without a legitimate SBS tag and label. 

HOW DOES IT WORK?

UNLEASHED Members may return any SBS Wig in exchange for store credit, minus a 40% handling fee based on the value of the wig.
Any consumer may purchase available pre-loved wigs on The Exchange at a discounted rate. 
Styles By Soma will repackage your wig, list it on our website Exchange, and sell the wig for you by listing it publicly for all to see.
We generate high level traffic on our website and will handle all packaging, photos, taxes, package protection, and shipping so you don't have to.

HOW MUCH DO I EARN FOR LISTING MY WIG ON THE EXCHANGE?

You will receive 60% of the selling price of the wig, excluding shipping, discounts, package protection, and taxes. 

Payments are provided via SBS Cash (store credit) and may be used towards any items on the SBS website. Please allow up to 30 business days after your wigs have sold for SBS to process your store credit. 

HOW DO YOU DETERMINE THE VALUE/PRICE OF THE WIG?

Our team will inspect the wig upon receipt and price it accordingly.

The price of the wig is based on many factors, including but not limited to: condition of the wig, quality of the hair and/or cap construction, color, style, length, odors, tags attached, demand and popularity.

We believe in providing honest assessments and quality products reflected in the assigned price.  

CAN I RETURN ANY WIG FROM ANY BRAND?

No, due to trademark and copyright laws, we cannot sell wigs from other companies unless we have a wholesale agreement with that company.

In order for a wig to be eligible, you must have purchased it directly by Styles By Soma and provide your order number.

HOW MUCH IS UNLEASHED MEMBERSHIP?

Unleashed Membership is $29 a month.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR THE WIG TO BE UPLOADED TO THE EXCHANGE?

Please allow up to 14 business days for our team to inspect, photograph, and list your wig on the Exchange.

WHAT IF I AM NOT A MEMBER OF UNLEASHED? 

We will not be able to list your wigs on The EXCHANGE until you sign up for UNLEASHED Membership and if you happened to mail in any wigs, we will hold onto them until you sign up OR we will mail them back to you after you pay for return shipping. 
You do not have to be a member to purchase wigs from The EXCHANGE. 

ARE ANY WIGS INELIGIBLE?

Basic Wigs, Sample Sale Wigs, Final Sale Wigs, Discontinued Wigs, Overstock Wigs, Mystery Wigs, Style Me Wigs, Wig Giveaways, and wigs purchased from the Exchange are ineligible and will NOT be accepted for the Exchange program. Wigs containing cigarette smoke or any signs of smoke odors are ineligible. If you mail these wigs in, it is your responsibility to pay to have them shipped back or they will be donated to charity after 7 days. 

All wigs must also be accompanied with a legit order number. If we are unable to locate your order number, it is ineligible. Wigs must be in resalable condition. In some cases, we may reject a style based on its condition and/or odor.

Please include your name, order number, and customer email inside your package. We also recommend shipping USPS Priority to include insurance and tracking in the event that your package gets lost or stolen during transit.
