MEET CHERYL:
My name is Cheryl and I am a 53-year-old wife and mother of two boys. My hair started thinning about 4 years ago due to illness, hormonal changes (menopause) and the genes that were passed down from my momma. This left me in a pretty dark place. The fact I could no longer style my hair and have it look at least halfway decent made me not want to go out at all. I had no control over what was happening to me. It began to affect my relationships with my husband and friends.
I was on Facebook and a live popped up on my feed. This person was showing wigs and they didn’t look anything like the wigs I’d seen in my mom’s beauty shop. I watched for a few months before I bought my first one and another 9 months before I had the guts to wear it out of the house. I felt beautiful and confident. Feelings I hadn’t felt in a very long time. Since that day, I have never looked back.
